Dr. Satakarni Makkapati

Dr. Satakarni Makkapati has helped envision and found the Biologics organisation in 2016 for Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, which in 2021 was carved out as CuraTeQ Biologics Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of APL. He currently serves as the Director and Member of the Board at Aurobindo Pharma Limited.
Along with his responsibility as CEO at CuraTeQ, Satakarni additionally manages the Peptides and Vaccines businesses for Aurobindo. Satakarni is a chemical engineer with a PhD from the University of Manchester in UK and has an MBA from IMD Business School, Lausanne in Switzerland. He currently serves on the Telangana Life Sciences Advisory Committee, Life Sciences Committee of CII, and on the Board of School of Life Sciences at Hyderabad Central University.
