Head - Vaccines Development

Dr. Tarun Sharma is a translational biotech scientific leader with demonstrated competencies in vaccine design strategy, end-to- end cGMP vaccine bioprocess development, technology transfers, as well as clinical and commercial manufacturing.

Tarun holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Pune and has completed an executive management program at IIT Bombay. He has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and also has US patents to his credit. During the 17 years of his industrial journey, he has been associated with Serum Institute of India Ltd, MSD Wellcome Trust Hilleman Laboratories and Cadila Pharma Limited. Tarun is currently leading the vaccine R&D efforts at Auro Vaccines Private Ltd.
